## SpyGames for GT:NH (GregTech: New Horizon)
SpyGames is a companion mod for LootGames (by Namikon & TimeConqueror): it analyzes the board of the "Minesweeper" minigame in real time and shows, through a 3D overlay on the blocks, which hidden cells are safe, which are certainly mined, and which remain only probable.
### How it works (no cheating)
LootGames never sends the content of a cell to the client until you reveal it yourself: the sync codec deliberately skips that data for covered cells. SpyGames does not bypass this in any way — it only uses numbers already revealed, flags you've placed, and the total mine count to apply two standard minesweeper deduction techniques:
- **Single-constraint deduction**: compares each revealed number against its hidden neighbours.
- **Subset elimination**: cross-references overlapping constraints to resolve cases plain single-cell logic can't.
Whatever can't be deduced with certainty is shown as an estimated probability (gradient), never as a fabricated certainty. In genuine 50/50 situations, or configurations too complex for these two techniques, the overlay stays ambiguous — exactly like a player reasoning about the same board would.
### Features
- Colored 3D overlay directly on the board's blocks (green = safe, red = mined, gradient = probability)
- Dedicated keybind to toggle the overlay on the fly (rebindable in Controls)
- Already-flagged cells are never highlighted red again, in any mode
- In-game config (Mods menu → Config):
- onlyShowMines: only show cells that are certainly mined, hide safe/probability cells
- legalMode: a "fair" wave-based mode — every N seconds (default 300) it unlocks only the mines deduced so far that aren't flagged yet; mines already shown stay visible until you flag them, then the next wave arrives. Includes an on-screen countdown in the bottom-left corner.
- itemMode: the overlay only works while wearing Thaumcraft's Goggles of Revealing in the helmet slot (requires Thaumcraft installed; if absent the mod simply stays inactive, no crash)
### Requirements
- Minecraft 1.7.10
- Minecraft Forge 10.13.4.1614+
- **LootGames** 2.2.0.1+ (required dependency)
- Thaumcraft (optional, only for itemMode)
### Notes
Built for personal/singleplayer use, or on servers where the minigame is played solo by each player. It doesn't modify LootGames or any other mod in any way: it only reads client-side data that's already legitimately synced.
Not affiliated with LootGames, Thaumcraft, or GTNH; names mentioned only for compatibility/credit purposes.
