What is Stack Refill?

Stack Refill is a lightweight Quality of Life mod that automatically replaces used-up item stacks, broken tools, armor pieces, and off-hand items from your inventory.

It helps keep your hotbar and equipment ready, so you can continue playing without stopping to manually move items around.

Why Players Install Stack Refill

  • Automatically refills used-up stacks from your inventory.
  • Replaces broken tools when another matching tool is available.
  • Refills armor slots and off-hand items.
  • Helps builders, miners, fighters, farmers, and survival players.
  • Reduces inventory interruptions during long play sessions.
  • Includes useful warnings, notifications, HUD counters, and optional sounds.

Feature Highlights

Automatic Stack Refill

When the last item in a stack is used, Stack Refill searches for a matching item and moves it into the same slot automatically.

Main Hand, Off-Hand, Armor, and Tools

The mod can refill the main hand, off-hand, armor slots, and tools when they break.

Configurable Search Priority

Choose how Stack Refill searches for replacements:

  • Inventory first
  • Hotbar first

Keep Slot Mode

Keep Slot mode keeps selected hotbar slots filled passively whenever matching items are available.

Item Blacklist

Add specific items to the blacklist if you do not want them to be refilled automatically.

Low Stock Warning

Get an actionbar warning when only one matching stack remains.

Refill Notifications

A clean actionbar notification can appear whenever a refill happens.

HUD Counter

When stock is low, Stack Refill can display a small counter on the hotbar slot.

Optional Refill Sound

Enable or disable a small sound effect when a refill happens.

Configuration

Stack Refill includes an in-game configuration screen.

Default config keybind:

The keybind can be changed from Minecraft’s controls menu.
