About

Description

Choose how many items fit in a stack, from 1 to 1,000,000,000. Set one default or give individual items their own limits.

Configuration

Set stack limits in config/stackreshape.json. The server shares these rules with clients automatically. An empty config ({}) leaves stack limits unchanged.

Values must be whole numbers. Remove the # comments before saving as JSON.

Notes

Restart the server or world after editing. /reload won't apply these changes.

Rules apply to items that stack by default and have no durability, including eligible modded items. Special slots keep their limits, and bundles still hold 64 units. Custom mod inventories may need compatibility work.

Lowering or removing a rule preserves saved item counts. Oversized stacks keep a temporary higher limit.

Before uninstalling, return item counts and stack sizes to vanilla limits.
