Star Wars: Shipyard

Turn a stock freighter into the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy. Open the Shipyard Workbench to refit your starships with upgraded hyperdrives, hull plating, ion engines, deflector shields, and hidden smuggling compartments.

Ship Loadouts & Engineering

  • Hyperdrive Classes (Class 3 to Class 0.5): Cut hyperspace jump times and outrun Imperial interdiction patrols with a Class 0.5 Hyperdrive.
  • Hull Plating & Deflector Shields: Reinforce your ship with Durasteel, Reinforced, or Quadanium Hull Plating, and install a Deflector Shield Generator that absorbs incoming fire and recharges between dogfights with a cockpit chime.
  • Ion Engines & Laser Turrets: Fit Ion Engines (Mk I–III) for top sublight speed and Laser Turrets for extra firepower.
  • Cargo Holds & Smuggler Compartments: Expand your ship's storage or install a Smuggler Compartment (and carry a Smuggler's Satchel) to hide contraband from Imperial customs scans.
  • Hyperspace Encounters & Salvage: Jumping through risky sectors can trigger pirate ambushes and Imperial blockades. Blast your way through to collect bounties and salvage Hull Plating and Ion Engines directly from the wreckage.
