Starving Totem is a mod that lets you turn the Totem of Undying into a cake loving fanatic! Maybe if you give it a piece of cake it will reward you? Normally it is not good to give so much sugar to a child, but keeping this golden boy happy and fed with cakes can grant you various boons! Be careful not to anger the totem however, or you might just end up getting some less prosperous boons...
🎂 Features:
_◉ Items:
__-Family altar: A placeable totem that the player can feed with "cakes" to receive its blessing! (Or a curse if they are not careful)
_◉ Effects:
__-Sweet Blessing: Grants a chance for a Totem of Undying to not break when used upon death. (25% chance)
__ The blessing also increases saturation gained from all types of food.
__The Sweet Blessing is obtained by feeding a Family Altar totem and lost by making it angry
__-Bitter Curse: The player will take increased damage from all damage sources and will not be able to use Totems of Undying.
__The Bitter Curse is obtained by making a Family Altar totem angry and lost by feeding it
__Both effects last 10 minutes and can not be removed by drinking milk.

- Can I use this mod in my modpack?
Yeah! you can use this mod in your modpack, but please use the Curse/CurseForge download and do not rehost the files.
- Will this mod eventually be ported to Fabric/other loaders?
No, unfortunately not. This mod will only be maintained for Forge, unless someone else wishes to port it.
