Description

Storm Survival Farmland Compat

A small compatibility datapack for Minecraft 1.20.1 that makes Let's Do: Brewery hops work correctly on farmland from Regions Unexplored.

The datapack adds:

  • regions_unexplored:peat_farmland
  • regions_unexplored:silt_farmland

to the existing:

  • #farm_and_charm:farmland

This allows Brewery hops to be planted and grown on both Regions Unexplored farmland variants without modifying any mod JARs.

Tested with

  • Minecraft 1.20.1
  • Regions Unexplored 0.5.6+1.20.1
  • [Let's Do] Farm & Charm 1.0.14
  • [Let's Do] Brewery - Farm&Charm Compat 2.0.6

Other Minecraft 1.20.1 versions may also work if the relevant block IDs and farmland-tag behavior remain unchanged, but they are not guaranteed.

Installation

  1. Download the datapack ZIP.
  2. Put it into your world's datapacks folder.
  3. Restart the world/server or run /reload.
  4. You can verify that it loaded with /datapack list.

Scope

This datapack intentionally fixes only the compatibility that can be solved cleanly through tags.

It does not provide universal Regions Unexplored farmland support for every crop. Farm & Charm's ordinary crops and HerbalBrews crops use block-specific vanilla crop placement logic and require a separate code-side compatibility solution.

Vinery grapes use their own bush/vine/pot mechanics and are not normal farmland crops.

Technical details

The datapack extends #farm_and_charm:farmland using "replace": false, so existing tag entries are preserved.

It does not change:

  • crop growth speed
  • recipes
  • seasons
  • farmland moisture
  • world generation
  • any third-party mod files
