Super Hardcore

Think regular Hardcore is too easy? Super Hardcore adds a tougher survival challenge while keeping the classic one-life rules.

Features

  • Mobs deal 50% more damage to players.
  • Players deal 50% less damage.
  • Natural healing from food is reduced by 50%.
  • Movement speed is reduced by 10%.
  • Additional hunger makes food more important.
  • Slightly darker world lighting creates a harsher atmosphere.
  • Super Hardcore worlds have a purple label in the world list.

How to play

During world creation, cycle the game mode:

Survival → Hardcore → Super Hardcore → Creative

Super Hardcore uses the normal Hardcore rules: one life, Hard difficulty, and commands disabled.

Requirements

  • Minecraft Java Edition 26.3
  • Fabric Loader 0.20.1 or newer
  • Fabric API for Minecraft 26.3
  • Java 25

For multiplayer, install the mod on both the client and server.
