Description

Sweetberry Additions

A Fabric mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 that expands sweet berry progression into a full crafting chain, and adds the Grinder — a fuel-powered block for automatable grinding recipes.

The Grinder

A new functional block crafted from stone and iron. Accepts all vanilla fuel. Supports hoppers (top → input, back → fuel, bottom → output) and comparator output.

Grinding recipes:

  • Stone / Cobblestone / Deepslate / Cobbled Deepslate → Gravel
  • Gravel → Sand
  • Wheat → Flour (x2)
  • Bone → Bone Meal (x4)
  • Sugar Cane → Sugar (x2)
  • Blaze Rod → Blaze Powder (x4)
  • Netherrack → Soul Sand

The Grinder replaces the vanilla crafting table recipes for sugar, blaze powder, bone meal, bread, cake, cookies, and pumpkin pie.

Roasted Sweetberry Smelt sweet berries
Sweetberry Jam 3× roasted sweetberry + glass bottle (shapeless) — returns bottle on use
Sweet Berry Cookie Shapeless with flour
Flour Grinder — wheat (x2)
Jam Spread Bread Sweetberry jam + bread (shapeless)

Bread, cake, cookies, and pumpkin pie now require flour instead of wheat.
