Description

Syd's Essentials

Syd's Essentials is a smaller mod that includes a bunch of commands that I, the mod author, personally like having access to. This mod can be used to provide a mostly-vanilla play experience, if that is what you want. This mod also features some items like the knife and mug, which are used to make some of the food items, like Syd's Honey Tea, and Zombie Jerky. We can also help out if you have to many eggs laying around too! 
 
I will be releasing another mod soon, call Syd's Extras, that will expand upon this mod, and add even more foods. Comments are welcome, as you guys can help me build more features into this mod. Credit will be given!
 
 

Released Features

 
Take a look at the below list to see all of the items and commands added in version 1!
  • /gms (Puts you in gamemode survival)
  • /gmc (Puts you in gamemode creative)
  • /gma (Puts you in adventure mode (Survival, but no block breaking)
  • /gmspec (Puts you in spectator mode)
  • /debug (Gives server operators a debug stick)
  • Cooking Knife
  • Rotten Strips (Gained after using the cooking knife on rotten flesh)
  • Zombie Jerky (For when you need a quick snack and don't mind the taste)
  • Mug... its a me, mug!
  • Fried Egg (Have too many eggs? Eat them.)
  • Syd's Honey Tea (My patented tea that does NOT contain anything illegal...)
  • Zombie Leather (Turn all of that nasty rotten flesh into something useful!)
  • Enchanted Golden Apples are back on the menu with their original recipe!

Version 2 adds even more cool things like:

  • Coffee Beans! (You have a 0.5% chance of getting 4 from breaking grass)
  • Coffee! (Gives you the zoomies... at a price)
  • Chocolate! (Nummy!)
  • Aurora's Chocolate Coffee! (For my special someone :) )

Version 3 added:

  • Hot Chocolate (Even more zoomy juice!)
  • Cold Chocolate (Toss it in a furnace.... please)
  • Sugar Sticks (For when you need to get out of a hairy situation...)

Version 4 will add:

  • The recipe command (For when you don't have JEI; /recipes ITEM)
