Description
Sysout Filter
A NeoForge/Forge server mod that filters spam from your console that other filtering mods often can't catch.
Why is this different than other solutions?
Some mods print directly to System.out or System.err instead of going through the standard Log4j logging system. This means that Log4j filters don't always work, and other implementations of console filtering mods like ConsoleFilter can't catch everything, which was my inspiration for this mod.
Sysout Filter intercepts at the JVM level by replacing System.out and System.err on startup. Every single line of console output passes through it, regardless of how it was printed. There is no lower level to intercept at.
Setup and usage
On first launch, the mod creates config/sysoutfilter.txt.
Filters are line-by line with no formatting required.
