🐶 TameLink

TameLink mod lets you safely transfer your tamed or owned pets to another player; using a Rabit Stew named "Pet".

Currently maintaining for 26.1, 26.2 and 26.3 branches (Fabric)

Features

  • Transfer any pets between you and anyone. Such as Cats, Wolves, even Horses, Nautilus, etc.
  • Also supports modded pets that uses Minecraft's pet system (TamableAnimal and AbstractHorse).
  • Server admins/operators can claim anyone's pets using the tamelink claim command. They don't need Rabit Stew and the pet owner's approval.

How does it work?

Suppose your friend has a Wolf.

  1. You get a Rabit Stew
  2. Name it "Pet" in the Anvil
  3. Sneak + Right Click on your friend's Wolf
  4. Give that Rabit Stew to your friend
  5. Now if your friend eats it, then the Wolf will become yours and follow you instead

Server side or client side?

Can run server side only. BUT, it is highly recommended to install it on your client as well; to get the full experience.
