Description

An original tech mod inspired by Tekkit Classic, made from scratch for Minecraft 26.3.
Remember your first generator humming next to a chest of coal? Doubling ore in a macerator, watching items slide through glass pipes, a quarry chewing its way down to bedrock while you went to make dinner? Tekkit Reimagined brings that feeling back in one new mod, where every machine is built to work with every other one.
Unofficial fan project: not a port, fork or repack of Tekkit Classic or of any mod in it. All of its code, textures, models, sounds and music were made for this mod. Credits, links and how it differs from Tekkit Classic are at the end of this page.

From tin to fusion, in eight Ages
- I. Industrial Beginnings: tin, copper, rubber trees and the treetap, refined iron and your first circuits.
- II. The Electrical Revolution: generators, cables, the BatBox, macerator, electric furnace, compressor and extractor.
- III. The Automation Age: wooden, stone, golden, iron, diamond and emerald pipes, engines, pumps, tanks, the quarry, geothermal and solar power.
- IV. The Industrial Expansion: the MFE, wind mills, the automatic crafter, machine upgrades, and ruins hiding old schematics.
- V. Advanced Engineering: the Factory Operating System, a computer that watches every machine and runs your factory by rules.
- VI. The Atomic Age: nuclear reactors (mind the heat), the MFSU, gold and glass fibre cable.
- VII. The Transmutation Age: the transmutation chamber and the robotic arm.
- VIII. Industrial Mastery: the Fusion Core, a megaproject that takes your whole factory, while three rival companies race you to it.
Learn by playing
- The Engineering Encyclopedia. You spawn with a real book: 55 illustrated entries and 16 diagrams. Every number in it (energy use, recipe yields, cable limits) is read straight from the game, so it is never out of date.
- Quests for every Age. 70 quests on the quest board (J), and a tracker on screen that always shows your next step. Already know your way around? Pick reduced guidance and it stays out of your way.
- A world worth exploring. Abandoned workshops, mining outposts and research stations to find, plus a map (M) and a minimap with waypoints.
A factory you can actually run
- Power networks that just work: lay cable and the energy goes where it is needed.
- Items you can see travelling through the pipes, sorted by diamond and emerald pipes.
- The factory computer shows power, storage and production at a glance, and switches machines with simple rules such as "while stored energy is below 50%, run only the generators".
- Nuclear reactors are a real puzzle: cells side by side make more power, and more heat. Get it wrong and it melts down.
- Rival companies build their own factories while you play. Fill their orders for diamonds and nether stars, and slow them down while you are at it.
Looks and sounds the part
- 16x16 pixel art in one consistent style, machines with real depth, and windows that glow at night (you can switch the glow off).
- Smoke, sparks, steam and flames from working machines, and a quarry drill that glows hot as it digs.
- A sound for every machine, and three original music pieces.
- Its own menus, world creation with presets, and settings that fit any screen size.
Good to know
- Needs: Minecraft 26.3 and Forge 66.0.10 or newer.
- Singleplayer: made and tested for singleplayer; servers are not supported yet.
- Big factories stay smooth: tested with a 400-machine factory, where Tekkit Reimagined's own work takes about a millisecond of each server tick.
- Your rules per world: guided or free progression, and rivals off, relaxed, normal or fierce.
Credits and inspiration
Tekkit Reimagined is an unofficial fan project, inspired by these projects. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.
- Tekkit Classic, the modpack by the Technic team, and the mods it was built on:
- IndustrialCraft 2: EU power, generators, cables, machines such as the macerator, BatBox, MFE and MFSU, and the nuclear reactor.
- BuildCraft: pipes, engines, pumps, tanks and the quarry.
- Equivalent Exchange (EE2 by x3n0ph0b3, later EE3 by pahimar): breaking matter down and building something else from it.
Nothing was taken from them: no code, textures, models, sounds or music. Familiar machine names were kept on purpose, so that Tekkit players feel at home, but every machine was built anew for this mod.
How it differs from Tekkit Classic
- One mod, not a modpack. Tekkit Classic bundles about 30 mods by many authors for Minecraft 1.2.5. Tekkit Reimagined is a single mod for Minecraft 26.3, with one power system, one art style and one set of menus.
- Only the industrial side. Power, machines, pipes, quarries, reactors and transmutation. Many of the pack's mods have no counterpart here.
- Transmutation works differently. A transmutation chamber fed by robotic arms, with matter values worked out from the recipes, instead of Equivalent Exchange's stones, tablets and condensers.
- New things Tekkit Classic did not have: eight Ages with 70 quests, the Engineering Encyclopedia, the Factory Operating System, rival companies that race you, the Fusion Core, ruins with damaged schematics, a map and minimap with waypoints, and world presets with rules per world.
How it was made
Battle Maker Game Studio designed Tekkit Reimagined and wrote its plan. It was built with Claude, an AI by Anthropic, and every stage was tested and steered in game, from the first generator to the Fusion Core.
