This is an addon the Tensura: Reincarnated mod that adds a bestiary to the mods native reincarnation menu. This mod is great for large modpacks with tons of entities.

Description

Creature knowledge

Tensura Bestiary adds a built-in creature encyclopedia directly to Tensura: Reincarnated’s native Reincarnation/Status Menu. The Bestiary tab is always available, but entries must be discovered by defeating creatures throughout your world.

Usability

Whenever you defeat a creature, its Bestiary entry is unlocked or updated. Each entry includes:

  • 3D model of the creature
  • Total number defeated
  • Observed Health range
  • Observed Spiritual Health range
  • Observed EP range
  • Dimensions and biomes where it was encountered
  • Items it has dropped
  • Skills the creature may possess
  • The mod the creature originates from

The Bestiary also tracks your overall discovery percentage, provides exact discovered/total progress when hovered, and includes a searchable index for finding specific entries.

If info couldend fit on the page when you hover you will be able to see complete values.

Broad Mod Compatibility

Tensura Bestiary is designed to automatically recognize registered creatures from vertually any mod

Customization

The client config allows players and modpack creators to customize how the Bestiary integrates with Tensura’s menu.

Current Customizations:

  • Bestiary’s right-side menu slot
  • How slot conflicts with other addons are handled (not fully tested yet)
  • Pick color between Blue, Red, Green, and Purple
  • Disabling the sidebar tab when necessary
  • Can assign it a keybind

Tensura’s original first sidebar slot is always protected and cannot be replaced.

Discovery

Bestiary information is based on creatures you have personally encountered and defeated. Repeated kills can expand observed ranges, reveal additional locations and drops, and improve the information stored within an entry.

This makes the Bestiary especially useful for exploration-focused packs, creature hunting, progression tracking, and learning more about unfamiliar enemies.

Development

Tensura Bestiary is still under active development and may have some bugs. Additional information categories, improved mod compatibility, progression systems, and integrations with mods like FTB Quests may be introduced in future updates.
