Tensura ReReroll
No reviews yet
Replaces Tensura's starter selector with a slot-machine gacha: roll races and unique skills, limited re-rolls, blacklists, roll speed and an in-game editor. Works with Tensura ReRebirth prestige pools.
Includes quality of life improvements and small tweaks to enhance and customize gameplay.
Neoforge is a fork of the Minecraft Forge available for versions 1.20.1+ of Minecraft. Many Forge mods are compatible with Neoforge and vice versa.

Description
Tensura: ReReroll
Tensura ReReroll is a gacha-style starter system for Tensura: Reincarnated, originally created for the Tensura Restricted modpack.
Instead of using Tensura’s default first-login race and skill selection menus, ReReroll replaces them with a slot-machine-inspired gacha system.
Roll three hidden race options, reveal them, and choose your preferred result. After selecting your race, spin again to determine your starting Unique Skill.
With a limited number of rerolls available, every spin matters.
Gacha System
ReReroll supports first login, race resets, full character resets, and Reset Scrolls.
Each stage rolls three options and allows the player to choose one result.
Skill cards display their proper icons, full descriptions, and difficulty information.
Race cards include Start, Mid, and Max stat bars for Aura and Magicules, allowing players to compare long-term racial progression before choosing.
The number of available rerolls is fully configurable.
Servers can optionally grant bonus rerolls based on the player’s Tensura reset counter.
Roll speed is also configurable, including the total spin duration and the delay between each card.
ReReroll respects the Rimuru Mode and NoUniqueStart game rules.
A built-in respawn reset fix prevents stale reset progress from reopening the reincarnation menu after death.
Pool Preview
A new Pools button is available in the top-right corner of the gacha screen.
The preview contains separate Races and Skills tabs showing everything the player can currently roll.
Skills are displayed using their proper icons and names.
The preview respects configured blacklists, allowlists, Tensura ReRebirth prestige requirements, and skills the player already owns.
Pool contents and entry counts update live when the player’s available options change during the session.
When no races or skills are currently eligible, the preview displays a clear message instead of showing an empty list.
Blacklists and Allowlists
Race and skill pools can be controlled using either blacklist or allowlist mode.
In Blacklist mode, every valid entry can roll except those placed on the blocked side.
In Allowlist mode, only the entries that remain on the allowed side can roll.
The allowlist begins pre-filled with everything currently available.
Removing an entry from the allowlist prevents it from appearing in future rolls.
An untouched allowlist remains open, allowing compatible content from newly installed addons to become available automatically.
Race filtering is now fully configurable using the same system as skill filtering.
The editor search field filters both the blocked and allowed columns and can be used alongside the existing skill-type and race-stage filters.
Configuration saving is handled intelligently. An untouched list is not unnecessarily written as a large explicit list, keeping the configuration cleaner and allowing future addon content to remain compatible.
Tensura ReRebirth Integration
ReReroll includes optional integration with Tensura ReRebirth.
Race and skill rolls can use the player’s currently unlocked prestige pools.
These pools may include addon races, addon skills, and system Unique Skills that do not normally appear in Tensura’s default starter lists.
The pool preview fully respects the player’s current ReRebirth level.
ReReroll also opens the starter gacha only after the rebirth process has completely finished.
Previously, the gacha could open before the new rebirth level had been saved. This caused bonus rerolls and expanded prestige pools to appear one rebirth late.
Players now receive the correct reroll count and newly unlocked prestige pools during the same rebirth.
If a ReRebirth prestige lookup fails, ReReroll safely treats the player as prestige level zero instead of producing an error.
ReRebirth remains entirely optional.
TensuraMoreUtils Integration
ReReroll includes optional integration with TensuraMoreUtils.
Skills banned through TensuraMoreUtils are automatically excluded from gacha rolls.
Ban lookups are cached to reduce repeated processing during roll resolution.
TensuraMoreUtils remains optional and has no effect when it is not installed.
BlacklistSkill and TensuraMoreUtils Import
An optional setting allows ReReroll to import banned skills from BlacklistSkill and TensuraMoreUtils into its own blacklist.
This setting is disabled by default.
Imported skills appear as read-only entries in the ReReroll editor.
The integration is one-way only. Tensura ReReroll never modifies or writes to the configuration files of either mod.
In-Game Editor
Open the ReReroll editor with:
/rereroll editor
The command requires operator permission.
The editor allows server operators to configure ReReroll without manually editing the configuration file.
Server operators can rename the gacha, change the number of rerolls, adjust roll speed, configure animation timing, and manage race and skill pools.
Both the Skills and Races tabs include a Blacklist / Allowlist toggle.
Entries can be searched across all installed compatible addons.
Skill filters include categories such as Common, Unique, Ultimate, and additional supported skill types.
Race filters include Starter, Middle, and Max evolution stages.
Search works together with these filters and applies to both sides of the blacklist and allowlist editor.
Customization
The displayed gacha name can be fully customized.
Servers can configure the default reroll count, bonus rerolls, spin duration, card stagger, race pools, skill pools, blacklists, allowlists, and external blacklist imports.
A configurable UUID list can grant unlimited rerolls to selected players for testing and administration.
Most settings can be changed live through the in-game editor.
Performance and Stability
ReReroll no longer uses mixins to intercept Tensura’s Character and Race reset menus.
Reset handling now uses events and scheduled tick tasks, making the system more resilient to future Tensura updates.
Configuration lists, external blacklist lookups, and TensuraMoreUtils ban checks are cached.
Roll resolution no longer performs reflection separately for every skill.
The editor remains responsive even when an allowlist contains every race or skill in a large modpack.
Commands
/rereroll editor
Opens the ReReroll settings editor.
Operator permission is required.
Configuration
Server configuration is stored in:
tensurareroll-server.toml
Most settings can also be changed live through the in-game editor.
Optional Integrations
Tensura ReRebirth, TensuraMoreUtils, and BlacklistSkill integrations are optional.
When one of these mods is not installed, its integration disables itself and ReReroll continues operating normally.
Compatibility Notice
Tensura ReReroll is not compatible with Tensura Gacha Start.
