Paper is a fork of Spigot that adds its own plugin API on top of the Bukkit API. All Spigot plugins are compatible with paper, not all paper plugins are compatible with Spigot.
Spigot is a popular software for running dedicated servers that can load Plugins created with the Bukkit API.

TerraformGenerator is free, and will stay free. There is a premium version (that you can access by clicking here) that is also on spigot, but note that that version is the exact same thing.
Do consider buying TerraformGenerator to support development.
TerraformGenerator is a world generator plugin that aims to provide an enhanced vanilla feel. The world is playable with all vanilla items obtainable, though I will heavily recommend thoroughly testing it for yourself before deploying it to a production environment. Pregeneration will take a while as the plugin generates more slowly than vanilla, making small mistakes difficult to fix later on.
There are commands, but they are developer commands and only available via /op. Try not to use them unless you understand what they do.

Designed for Survival All important structures behave in a similar way to allow a seamless transition from vanilla gameplay. Structures can also spawn mobs like Guardians and Pillagers.
Improved Structures Better dungeons like Mansions, Strongholds and Pyramids allow for more interesting exploration and gameplay.
Vanilla Feature Preservation As far as possible, all new major vanilla worldgen features have a high priority in development and will be added.
Improved Biomes Explore enhanced vanilla biomes, as well as new biomes added by the plugin. This includes biomes with non-vanilla biome colours!

Read the FAQ and look at the more detailed installation instructions here.
Instructions for 1.16 and 1.17
TerraformGenerator v13.0.0 does not support anything below 1.18.2. To use TerraformGenerator with 1.16 and 1.17 or 1.18.1, use the version:https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/terraformgenerator-1-18-2-1-20-4.75132/download?version=521877
Instructions for 1.15 and 1.14
TerraformGenerator v6.0.0 does not support anything below 1.16.5 anymore. To use TerraformGenerator with 1.15 and 1.14, use version 5.3.2 and below:https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/terraformgenerator-alpha.75132/download?version=427634
On another note, for 1.15.2, the version released on 23rd Feb 2020 is the recommended version, as it fixes an itchy spigot issue. More details at the bottom under "bugs". 1.14.4 does not have this fix.
Prerequisites
- You need at least Java 16
- Pregeneration is recommended regardless of your server specs, as TerraformGenerator was not designed to generate live
Steps
- Turn off the server if it is running
- Place TerraformGenerator.jar in your plugins folder
- Inside bukkit.yml, add these lines (they do not exist beforehand), where "world" is your world name:
worlds: world: generator: TerraformGenerator - Delete the old world folder (if present), and start the server
Setup with Multiverse
Do not follow these steps unless you intend to have multiple overworlds. If you only want one world, do not use a world manager plugin.https://github.com/Hex27/TerraformGenerator/wiki/Getting-Started#using-a-world-management-plugin
