TFC Atlas

TFC Atlas is a client-side companion mod for TerraFirmaCraft designed to make exploring and understanding TFC worlds easier without replacing the exploration itself.

Built around integration with Xaero’s World Map, TFC Atlas adds detailed TFC-specific map layers that let you visualise information such as rock types, biomes, climate, rainfall, temperature, altitude, inlandness, uplift, rivers, lakes, mountains and more directly alongside your explored world.

The atlas can display TFC information on its own, show the normal Xaero map, or overlay the two together, allowing you to quickly switch between different views depending on what you're looking for. Rock information can also be viewed by geological layer, making it much easier to understand the structure of the world beneath you.

Powerful World Search

TFC Atlas also includes a powerful search system for finding areas that meet specific conditions. Searches can combine criteria such as:

• Rock type and rock layer
• Biome
• Rainfall
• Temperature
• Altitude
• Inlandness
• Uplift
• Dikes
• Explored or unexplored terrain

For example, you can search for areas containing a particular rock while also requiring a certain rainfall, temperature, biome or altitude range. The atlas highlights matching regions and can show the closest results to your chosen search centre.

Designed for Exploration

TFC Atlas is intended to provide useful information without simply turning TFC exploration into a normal seed map. It works alongside your existing Xaero map and provides different options for controlling how generated TFC information and already-explored terrain are displayed.

The mod is client-side, making it useful both in singleplayer and when playing on compatible multiplayer servers. Its world-prediction and mapping systems are designed so that the server seed does not need to be exposed through the interface.
