Imagine you are playing SMP with your friends and suddenly your friends experience strange events. That would be creepy, wouldn't it? That's exactly what this mod is about, something that happened to me and my friends.

⚠️WARNING: Except for a few events, all events take place every 3 days. Therefore, you can progress by skipping days with the ‘/time add 3d’ command. However, for example, if you are on day 2, advance with ‘/time add 1d’.

⚠️ - IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR DAY ADVANCING: With version 4.0, there are now events almost every day, and even within days. Therefore, the stability of the mod may be compromised if you advance the day.

WHAT DOES THIS MOD DO?

This mod completely changes the players' normal minecraft experience, adding a different ending, unlike many other horror mods. ALMOST all events that happen in the mod happen on the server where me and my friends play. Since the mod is currently in beta, you may encounter many bugs and errors. I only tested the mod in singleplayer but it will probably work in multiplayer.

There are many scary events that happen day after day in the mod, as well as strange beings that watch over you. The mod also has chat messages describing the events, so play with chat on if possible.

Mod is in beta. I can say that it is about 80% complete, I have not added many things I planned. You may encounter many bugs and errors.

The mod is an EXTREMELY SLOW mod. You will need a minimum of ~5 hours and a maximum of ~10 hours to finish the mod.

• KEEP THE BRIGHTNESS AT 100%
• IF YOU ARE USING SODIUM-LIKE MODS, ALWAYS KEEP THE ENTITY/MOB RENDER DISTANCE AT 500%

A STORY ABOUT BIRTH OF THE DB

In 2021, our group of over 10 friends played SMP together. After some time, two of us split from the group to grind independently. Soon after, a friend from the other team reported their torches mysteriously disappearing. Initially, no one believed it, but others started experiencing the same issue. During this, a friend claimed to see a blue entity at the end of a tunnel. A few others reported similar sightings, and one mentioned a black entity, though no one else saw it. Eventually, the world inexplicably vanished, and despite searching for the DB with the same seed, we found nothing except I was trolling. I created this mod to immortalize that experience. Personally, I believe (though my friends disagree) the world’s disappearance stemmed from our group’s split a chaos-hating entity destroying it.

The mod is on 1.16.5 CURRENTLY because The DB appeared in this version.
