Description

Disclaimer: Work In Progress!

This mod has been created for the 2026 Echoes of the Past ModJam. The current alpha releases are so early into development that they do not add very much. I will continue to update this page as more content is added.

What does it actually add then?

Most features are unimplemented, below are a few of the planned features along with their progress:

≥ 3 New Biome types, including two ocean biomes and an island biome with custom terrain generation. (Unimplemented)

≥ 3 New Entities, each with unique models; interactions with other custom entities; textures; and animations such as walking, running, idle, sleeping, attacking, stalking, hunting, and dying. There are also plans to add a carrion system, wherein a deceased entity will become a carrion block that can be harvested by players or eaten by custom entities. (In Progress) Work in progress ceratosaurus

≥ 1 New Tree/Wood variant. (Completed!)

The trees do not currently generate naturally, and will be added to a custom biome later in development. The image in the gallery is a hand-built forest to give an idea of what a conifer forest biome might look like when it is created. An image showing off the new wood variant.

Multiple new foliage/ground cover blocks similar to grass. (Unimplemented)

Multiple new soil/stone blocks. (Unimplemented)

New fish variants that can be caught in the custom biomes. (Unimplemented)

A myriad of smaller features, including navigation changes and villager trades. (Unimplemented)

  • Woah Dinosaur!
Woah Dinosaur! It is super dumb and doesnt know how to do anything. The model doesnt line up correcty or have any animations. But it is a start. Hopefully it will be a working creature soon.
  • Conifer Generation
Conifer Generation Conifer trees can grow from conifer saplings with custom trunk and foliage generation.
  • Conifer Wood
Conifer Wood The Conifer tree and the corresponding stripped logs/wood, planks, and other craftables.
