Description
🔵 The Lounge Inventar-System
Died? Your items stay with you.
The Lounge Inventar-System keeps players’ standard inventories, equipment, and experience upon death by automatically enabling and enforcing Minecraft’s built-in keepInventory game rule.
What You Keep
-
Inventory and hotbar items.
-
Armor and offhand items.
-
Experience levels and points.
Protection applies to all players, including operators, across all loaded server dimensions.
Players still die and respawn normally. The mod does not grant invulnerability or perform its own inventory copying.
Custom Messages
Blue messages with the [The Lounge Inventar-System] prefix inform players when joining and respawning after death.
Commands
-
/loungeinventar— displays the version and protection status. -
/loungeinventar info— displays the same information.
No operator permissions are required to check the status.
Installation
Install the mod on the server only by placing the JAR in the server’s mods folder, then fully restart the server.
For singleplayer, install it in your local NeoForge profile.
Requirements
-
Minecraft Java: 1.21.1
-
Mod loader: NeoForge 21.1.252 or newer within the 21.1 series
-
Java: 21
Important Notes
The mod automatically keeps keepInventory enabled. Manually disabling the game rule while the mod is installed will not permanently disable protection.
After removing the mod, the saved game rule remains enabled. Run /gamerule keepInventory false afterward if you want to disable it.
Additional inventories, accessory slots, gravestone mods, and corpse mods may use their own death-handling rules. Test compatibility with your modpack using a backup world first.
Items lost before installation are not restored.
A system by The Lounge.
