not only has it been unfinished for 10 years, almost nothing interesting has happened in the meantime. it's not charming or nostalgic, it's clunky and old and boring.
they're always working on something, but it just seems to be racing to adapt their dinosaur codebase to newer versions of minecraft. A new mod definitely needs to step in and take the "fantasy dimension mod with progression" role.
