About
Description
A Fabric mod that gates The End behind a full-party requirement, expands the world border when the dragon dies, tightens structure placement, and adds splash potions to fishing loot. Configurable, server-side, and usable on singleplayer worlds opened to LAN.
Group-gated End access
Players type /endready to mark themselves ready. Once the configured number of players are ready, the mod builds an obsidian landing platform in The End and teleports the whole group there in a single tick.
Players who reach The End by other means — portal, command, or teleport — are returned to their last recorded Overworld position with a message explaining why.
The gate applies to entry only. Once the group is inside, enforcement stops until The End is empty again, so a death or disconnect during the dragon fight does not eject the remaining players. Strict enforcement is available through the enforceContinuousPresence setting.
World border tied to the dragon
The Overworld border starts at 1000×1000 blocks and expands to 20000×20000 when the Ender Dragon is killed. The expansion can be instant or gradual, and the state persists across restarts.
Both sizes and the expansion speed are configurable. /servermod resetborder resets the trigger.
Denser structure placement
Vanilla places the first stronghold ring 32 chunks from spawn, which puts it outside a compact starting area. This mod moves the ring to 12 chunks and guarantees three strongholds.
Twenty structure sets are adjusted, including trial chambers, ancient cities, villages, ruined portals, mineshafts and ocean monuments. Vanilla's relative weighting between structures is preserved — spacing is reduced proportionally rather than arbitrarily.
Splash potions from fishing
Fishing has an 18% chance to yield one of four splash potions, weighted evenly at 4.5% each:
- Strength II
- Swiftness II
- Invisibility, 8:00
- Fire Resistance, 8:00
The ratio between fish, junk and treasure is unchanged. All three were scaled down proportionally to make room. The potion entry uses quality: 0, so Luck of the Sea does not affect the rate.
Automatic shutdown when empty
On dedicated servers, the mod saves and stops after a configurable period with no players online, allowing an external wrapper to restart it on demand.
It reads pause-when-empty-seconds from server.properties and shortens its own countdown when that value would prevent shutdown from triggering, logging the adjustment. On integrated servers it disables itself.
Bedrock support
Detects Geyser and Floodgate when present, counts Bedrock players correctly, and strips the Floodgate username prefix in chat messages. Works normally without them.
