Thermite: Reignited

Minecraft has plenty of dangerous places. Thermite makes temperature one of them.

Your body temperature reacts to the biome, time of day, rain and snow, water, wind, nearby blocks and the armour you are wearing. Stay comfortable, or extreme heat and cold will eventually hurt.

Keep your temperature under control

• Wear leather armour and wool cloth to stay warmer.
• Use torches, fire, lava and campfires to warm up.
• Ice, packed ice, blue ice and water help you cool down.
• Rain, snow, nighttime and high-altitude wind make the world colder.
• Fire resistance protects you from heat damage.

Blocks and items

The Ice Box lets you create ice in cold biomes and provides a useful source of cooling.

The Brick Fireplace heats a large area and can be built with walls above it to create a chimney.

Use the thermometer HUD to see your current temperature and whether you are warming up or cooling down.

Compatibility

Thermite: Reignited is a Fabric mod for Minecraft 1.20.2–1.20.4 and works on both clients and dedicated servers.

The temperature system runs server-side, so clients cannot request extra temperature ticks.
