About

Description

Tidal Commission is a configurable task-card commission board mod for Minecraft NeoForge.

Players use the Tidal Commission Board to reveal commission cards, inspect their requirements, pay an accept cost, submit the requested items, and receive rewards. The mod is built around a lightweight decision loop: open a card, judge whether the task is worth taking, then complete it before the timer runs out.

The board contains five commission slots and three task tiers. Tasks can come from different sources, such as official requests, folk requests, and gray organization requests. Each source can have its own weight, display icon, color, reward style, and configuration rules.

The mod is designed for servers and modpacks. Server owners and pack authors can adjust source weights, opening costs, cooldowns, penalties, task pools, rewards, and custom sources through configuration files and datapacks. Tasks can also be added or replaced through datapacks or KubeJS.

Main features:

  • Five-slot commission board interface
  • Three commission tiers
  • Source-based task pools
  • Official, folk, and gray organization task sources by default
  • Configurable source weights and opening costs
  • Configurable cooldown and penalty timing
  • Item submission tasks with rewards
  • Datapack and KubeJS task support
  • Player-created custom commissions for multiplayer servers
  • Dispatch Token for clearing the longest penalty or cooldown slot
  • Guarantee Voucher for replacing normal commission accept costs
  • Optional Curios support
  • Server-side configuration synchronization

Curios is optional. When Curios is installed, the Tidal Commission Board can be placed in a Curios slot and opened with the hotkey. Without Curios, players can still use the board from their inventory.

This mod is suitable for survival servers, RPG-style modpacks, economy packs, and custom progression packs that need a flexible task request system.

Tidal Commission / 潮汐委托

Tidal Commission adds a commission board system to Minecraft.

Players can open the commission board, reveal task cards, accept timed delivery tasks, submit the requested items, and receive rewards after completion.

Each commission has its own source, difficulty, required items, rewards, and time limit. Players need to decide whether a commission is worth accepting before spending resources and taking the risk.

The mod is built around short-term decisions: reveal, accept, complete, abandon, or wait for cooldowns. It can be used as a lightweight task system for survival worlds, servers, and modpacks.

Features

  • Commission board gameplay
  • Multiple commission slots
  • Timed delivery tasks
  • Different commission sources
