About

Description

Timeless Ivy: Reborn

In older versions of Botania, there existed an item called Timeless Ivy.
It could grant any durability-bearing item the ability to repair itself using mana, allowing players to enjoy Botania's benefits even when using powerful equipment from other mods.
Unfortunately, with the introduction of the Mending enchantment, it was removed. (Why, though? Timeless Ivy was leagues ahead of Mending?!)

Thus this mod was born - to revive this little gadget that's infinitely better than Mending!

What Does It Do?

A new item - Timeless Ivy.
Consume some experience points to combine it with a repairable item on an anvil, granting the item the ability to repair durability using mana.

Compatible with most items from other mods.

Configuration

All features are customizable via config files (timeless_ivy_reborn-common.toml).If you want lower mana cost, then you'll have to tweak the config yourself. But you already knew that.

# Timeless Ivy settings
[common]
    # Set the Mana cost per point of durability (default: 200)
    # Range: > 0
    mana_cost_per_damage = 200
    # Set the experience cost for attaching Timeless Ivy to an item (default: 10)
    # Range: > 0
    timeless_ivy_exp_cost = 10
    # Set whether to attempt full durability repair each time (default: true)
    try_repair_to_full = true
    # Set whether to only attempt to repair equipped items (Default: true)
    only_repair_equipments = false
    # Set the number of ticks between repair attempts (Default: 1)
    # Range: > 1
    repair_tick = 1
