Tinkers' Things is an addon for Tinkers' Construct that contains no Java code (if you do not believe me, check the GitHub source). This is made possible through the mod Json Things, which allows you do add custom items, fluids, blocks, creative tabs, and harvest tiers through JSON files.

This mod serves two purposes:

  • It is a fully playable survival friendly Tinkers' Construct addon adding a lot of new tools and armor to the mod.
  • It serves as an example for those wishing to create Tinkers' Construct datapacks and no-Java code addons.

  • Shovels
  • Halberds
  • Blowpipes
  • Shortbows
  • Hematite tool material
  • Large Repair Kits

  • Silky Sacks for storing items

There are also example "things" which require Json Things to add:

For more info on custom Json Things content, see documentation page. More info on datapack content can also be found on the SlimeKnights documentation. If you have questions, feel free to ask on our discord.

Installing

To use this mod, you need at least Tinkers' Construct build 3.6.1. You also need to install Json Things. Assuming you have both, you can install this mod like any Java mod.
