TMT Chat Extrer is a lightweight server-side chat management mod for NeoForge 1.21.1. It divides the chat into three separate modes: Global, Local, and Admin, allowing for clean and organised communication on your Minecraft server.
Includes quality of life improvements and small tweaks to enhance and customize gameplay.
Neoforge is a fork of the Minecraft Forge available for versions 1.20.1+ of Minecraft. Many Forge mods are compatible with Neoforge and vice versa.

TMT Chat Extrer is a lightweight server-side chat management mod for NeoForge 1.21.1. It divides the chat into three separate modes: Global, Local, and Admin, allowing for clean and organised communication on your Minecraft server.

Three Chat Modes
-
/gc– Global chat (everyone on the server can see messages) -
/lc– Local chat (only players within 125 blocks) -
/ac– Admin chat (visible only to operators and approved members)

Visual Mode Indicator
An action bar displays your current chat mode (e.g.[G] You are in global chat). -
Full Mute Integration
Supports FTB Essentials mute system (/mute). Muted players cannot send messages in any chat mode. -
Admin Management Commands (Operator only)

/acadd <player>– Grant admin chat access -
/acremove <player>– Revoke admin chat access -
/aclist– List all members with admin chat access

Local Chat Feedback
If no one hears your local message (except yourself), you receive a notification:Nobody heard your message in local chat (radius 125 blocks) -
Persistent Mode
Your selected chat mode is saved and restored after rejoining the server.

How to Use

Install the mod on your NeoForge server (
modsfolder). -
Restart the server.

Join the server and type
/gc,/lc, or/acto switch chat modes. -
Type normally – your message will be sent in the selected chat mode.

Operators can manage admin chat access using
/acadd,/acremove, and/aclist.
Dependencies
-
FTB Essentials (recommended – for mute support)
If FTB Essentials is not present, the mute check will simply not block anyone.
Installation

Download the
.jarfile. -
Place it in the
modsfolder of your NeoForge server (client-side installation is not required). -
Restart the server.

Known Issues
-
Local chat includes the sender in the radius check by default (you always see your own messages). This is intended behaviour.
-
If another chat mod (like Chat+) is installed, conflicts may occur. Disable other chat mods for full functionality.
