About

Description

This simple and customizable mod turns Minecraft into a zombie apocalypse while still being vanilla friendly! It feels more like a gamemode or minigame than a mod.

Features

  • Zombies no longer burn in daylight
  • Zombies can spawn in daylight, but at a reduced rate (25% by default)
  • Block light, such as torches, will still prevent zombie spawns
  • All zombies can break doors in any difficulty
  • Villagers are always zombified when they're killed by a zombie
  • 90% of villages are abandoned and full of zombie villagers!

Configurable

All of these features can be toggled in the config file, except the abandoned village rate, because it uses a datapack. However, you can disable the datapack on the world creation screen or use another one to override it (make sure it's higher on the list than the mod's datapack).

Compatibility

The following mods have been tested with TNT's Zombie Apocalypse and are compatible:

Testing with Optifine resulted in a crash on startup.
