Touhou Maid: Butchery

Touhou Maid: Butchery is a darkly humorous expansion for Touhou Little Maid, introducing the gluttonous and uncontrollable Lazy Maid, a risky maid-butchering system, and a complete processing chain integrated with Kaleidoscope Cookery.

Raise them, feed them, watch them multiply—and decide what happens when the ranch becomes overcrowded.

1. The Lazy Maid

How to Obtain One (Lazy Maids do not spawn naturally)

- Hold a poppy and right-click a normal adult maid:

There is a 40% chance to produce a baby maid.

Each baby produced this way has a 30% chance of being a Lazy Maid.

Once you obtain your first Lazy Maid, the population can begin expanding on its own.

Lazy by Name, Lazy by Nature

- Lazy Maids are very different from ordinary maids:

They cannot be tamed.

They refuse to perform maid tasks.

They occasionally sit down and rest.

They beg whenever a player holds any kind of food, not just cake.

They eagerly eat Cakes, Wine Fox Corpses, and Roast Whole Foxes.

They may be terrible servants, but they are exceptionally good at multiplying.

Two Independent Reproduction Systems

- Adult Lazy Maids can reproduce in two completely separate ways:

When left alone, they may reproduce automatically, producing 2–3 baby Lazy Maids at once.

Feeding an adult Lazy Maid a sweet berry has an independent chance to produce one baby Lazy Maid.

Baby Lazy Maids can be fed sweet berries for a chance to grow up. Alternatively, feeding milk to any baby maid—Lazy or otherwise—makes her grow up immediately.

2. Lazy Maid Butchery and the Wounded System

Harvesting Maids

Right-click a maid with a Kaleidoscope Cookery Kitchen Knife to harvest her.

- Each cut:

Deals 5 damage to the maid.

Produces either Maid Meat or Oil from Kaleidoscope Cookery.

May leave the maid critically wounded.

Killing a baby maid with a Kitchen Knife produces a Wine Fox Corpse instead of ordinary meat.

The Wounded State

- Whenever a maid takes at least 5 damage from a single hit, she may become Wounded:

Adult maids have a 7% chance, Baby maids have a 60% chance.

A Wounded maid collapses on the ground and becomes completely unresponsive.

A Wounded maid is not necessarily lost forever. Feed her a Golden Apple to remove the Wounded state and help her recover.

3. Using and Processing the Items

Maid Meat and Cooked Maid Meat

Maid Meat can be obtained by cutting or killing maids. It can then be cooked into Cooked Maid Meat, which restores more hunger.

Maid Meat is also compatible with the Kaleidoscope Cookery Pan, allowing up to nine pieces to be cooked together.

Wine Fox Corpse

Killing a baby maid with a Kitchen Knife drops a Wine Fox Corpse.

Can be placed and eaten in portions like a cake.

- It can also be processed in two ways:

Place it over a campfire to roast it into a Roast Whole Fox.

Place it on a Kaleidoscope Cookery Chopping Board and cut it five times to obtain 2 Maid Meat.

The corpse visibly appears on the campfire and chopping board, turning the process into an actual in-world cooking sequence rather than a simple crafting recipe.

Roast Whole Fox

After being cooked over a campfire, a Wine Fox Corpse becomes a Roast Whole Fox.

- The Roast Whole Fox:

Restores considerably more hunger than the raw corpse.

Can be placed and eaten in portions like a cake.

Can be placed on a Kaleidoscope Cookery Chopping Board and cut five times into 2 Cooked Maid Meat.

Be careful where you serve it—a nearby Lazy Maid may eat it before you get the chance.

Spicy Maid Meat

- Combine the following ingredients to make Spicy Maid Meat:

Cooked Maid Meat

Chili Pepper

A Bowl

Eating Spicy Maid Meat grants Strength I for one minute, turning the final product of your ranch into a useful combat meal.

From breeding Lazy Maids to harvesting meat, treating injuries, roasting corpses over campfires, and cutting them apart on a chopping board, the mod creates a complete and visibly interactive production chain.
