Tractor Beam Elevators

Build an elevator with two linked pads and a visible tractor beam.

Place an upward-facing pad below a downward-facing pad in the same vertical column, then connect them with the Configurator Wrench.

Enter near the bottom to rise, or near the top to descend. Ctrl or crouch reverses upward travel downward; Space reverses downward travel upward. Walk sideways to exit.

Features include:

  • Adjustable speed from 1× to 10× using the reusable Speed Controller.
  • Gentle centering when you stop moving sideways.
  • Customizable beam colors using dyes.
  • Transport for mobs and animals. 
  • Redstone control and four pad placement orientations.
