True Iron Chests adds a set of durable, tiered storage upgrades that expand on vanilla chest gameplay while staying simple and survival-friendly.

Main features

  • Tiered iron-style chests with increased storage capacity compared to vanilla.
  • Works alongside vanilla storage, so you can mix and match in existing worlds.
  • Chest Grabber tool to move chests and barrels while keeping their contents (NBT) intact:
  • Pick up a chest/barrel and place it back down with items preserved
  • Shows what it’s holding in the tooltip
  • Applies Slowness II while carrying
  • Forms double chests normally when placed next to matching chests
  • Limited durability/uses to keep it balanced

Designed for players who want bigger storage and safer base organization without bloating the modpack.
