Truly Custom Horse Tack

Truly Custom Horse Tack is an addon mod for Realistic Horse Genetics that adds horse armor that is truly customizable! Simply craft a saddler block and grab your favorite dyes, and build your own tack just as you would in a loom!

Mod Blocks

Saddler Block: Right click to open GUI. Works exactly like a loom. Put in a tack, dye, and optionally tack patterns to change your selection choices. You can put in the same tack over and over again to continue layering on options! Option in config to have the table not consume dye.

Saddle Rack/Horse Head Armor Stand: Right click with custom tack or a saddle to display item. Right click with empty hand to pull item off.

Horse  Jumps: Connect like walls to make jumps of any size!

Mod Items

Custom Tack: Core of the mod! Customize in a saddler table. Is empty by default. Undo last option by washing in a cauldron. Can combine a customized tack with an empty one to duplicate them or combine two customized ones with a blank to merge them!

Tack Patterns: Use in a saddler table to change what selection of patterns are available to choose from!

Ribbon: Dye like a leather item. Name in an anvil and award to your best horses! Wash in a cauldron.

Mixable Dye: Dye like a leather item. Use in a saddler table instead of normal dyes to get exactly the color you want! Has 16 durability. Clear in a cauldron.

Creative Mode Only Items

Increase/Decrease Jump/Speed potions: Right click horse with potions to permenantly change its stats. Does not affect horse breeding. Max values of potions can be altered in the config.

Horse Stat Stick: Right click on horse to print it's stats to chat.

Extra Tack Items

Right clicking on a horse with an extra tack item will equip it to the horse ontop of any existing tack. This is so that a horse can be awarded a ribbon or be permenantly a unicorn, without having to put it on tack directly. Right click a horse with an axe to remove all equiped extra tack items.

Ribbon: Puts a ribbon on the horses right side.

End Rod: Gives the horse a white unicorn horn.

Elytra: Gives the horse white feathered wings. Yes, the horse can glide with wings!

Banner: Gives the horse a flag with the pattern.

Truly Custom Horse Tack

This mod adds horse armor for the mod Realistic Horse Genetics that are truly customizable. Simply craft a saddler block and make armor just as you would customize a banner!

Features

Saddler Block: A new block that behaves just like a loom but for horse armor! Includes a nice horse display so you can preview your changes.

Customization Options: Personalize your horse's armor with different colors, and patterns! Included are various tack patterns to organize the various options from winter, cute, and racing!

Correct Leather Armor: Just as the mod Dyed, leather armor now correctly has an overlay.

Horse Jumps: Blocks that act like a stone wall that make customizable horse jump sizes! Comes in all concrete colors.

Horse Potions: For creative use only, allows you to alter your horses stats.

FAQ

Is this mod compatible with other mods?

This mod must be used with Realistic Horse Genetics. Any mod that adds horse armor, may not have armor textures made for RHG. However outside of that there shouldn't be any conflicts that I'm aware of.

My custom tack doesn't display anything! / Doesn't display a saddle!

By default custom tack is completely empty, including no saddle or bridle. If you want a saddle and bridle with your custom tack select those options in the saddler table!

Can I submit patterns?

Absolutely! You can either raise an issue/PR request on Github or DM me on CurseForge. Every pattern option requires 3 parts: a 14x14 icon for the table, texture on horse that gets colored, texture on horse that does not get colored (optional if empty).

Can I use this in modpacks / videos?

Sure! If this mod brings a smile to at least one person, I've achieved my goal.
