Tunnel & Trench adds Vanilla-style 3x3 tools that speed up everyday mining and digging without altering the progression feel. Use Hammers for mining, Excavators for digging, and crouch to do normal single-block mining and digging. Great for Vanilla+ and lightly modded packs that want faster gathering with recipes and progression that stays true to vanilla.
