Description

Some twisted tweaks to make the game even more fun!

Features

Acid Rain

All versions

  • Optionally affects players — applies an acidic effect (Acid Burn / poison depending on config & version)
  • Looking up in acid rain applies blindness (later versions also refresh blindness with eyes in water)
  • Optional config to allow players to die from acid rain
  • Optionally affects passive mobs
  • Configurable acid effect lengths (initial, added, and max)
  • Optionally affects crops — crops slowly wither / die
  • Dimension whitelist: 1.12.2+ (and 1.21.1)
  • Immune mob / crop lists: 1.21.1
  • Force-toggle for testing via /tt acidrain: 1.21.1

Dependency note: Crop acid rain (and Starve Death) on 1.7.10 / 1.10.2 require AppleCore.

Galvanized (Armor Enchantment)

All versions

  • Armor enchantment that helps resist acid rain

Liquid Void

All versions

  • Block that voids fluids pumped into it (or emptied from a bucket on 1.21.1)

XP Void

All versions

  • Config list of ores / blocks that drop no XP when mined

Starve Death

All versions

  • Makes starvation lethal / much more dangerous for players
  • On 1.7.10 / 1.10.2, requires AppleCore
  • On 1.12.2+ / 1.21.1, works without AppleCore

Ignite Blocks

All versions

  • Makes selected blocks flammable to stop cheesy cobble-gen / fire-immune wood tricks on skyblock-style packs
  • 1.21.1: auto-covers common wood tags, plus config extras and the Burn Setter item (/tt setburn)

Starting Inventory

1.10.2 · 1.12.2 · 1.15.2 · 1.21.1 (not on 1.7.10)

  • Gives configured starter items once on first login
  • 1.21.1: set / clear via /tt startinginventory (alias starterinventory)

Infested Leaf Spiders (Ex* Integration)

Optional spider spawn chance when breaking infested leaves — partner mod differs by version:

Minecraft Integration
1.7.10 Not present
1.10.2 Ex Nihilo Omnia
1.12.2 / 1.15.2 Ex Nihilo Creatio
1.21.1 Ex Deorum

Mob AI (Break Lights / Blocks)

1.12.2 · 1.15.2 · 1.21.1 (not on 1.10.2 / 1.7.10)

  • Configured mobs path to and break listed light sources / blocks
  • Item / block whitelist and break behavior are configurable
  • 1.21.1: separate instant vs timed break lists, timed crack animation, line-of-sight checks, and the Break Setter item (/tt setbreak)

Custom Torches

1.12.2 · 1.15.2 · 1.21.1 (not on 1.10.2 / 1.7.10)

  • Burnable / unlit twisted torches (burn out over time, optional rain extinguish, relight chance)
  • Glowstone torch (permanent light)
  • Torch Oil & Torch Paste as pack-crafting ingredients

Please note: Torch Oil / Torch Paste do not ship with default recipes. Add recipes with CraftTweaker, KubeJS, datapacks, etc.

  • 1.12.2 replaces the vanilla torch block registration
  • 1.21.1 uses twistedtweaks:torch and replaces the vanilla torch recipe only (does not steal the minecraft:torch block ID)

Angry Herd

1.21.1 only

  • Damaging a listed animal can anger it and nearby same-type mobs to chase / attack the attacker
  • Configurable triggers (player melee / projectiles, other mobs / projectiles), whether babies join, chase duration, herd radius (hard max 25), and max herd size (0 = unlimited in radius)
  • Modded entity IDs can be added to the mob list

Music Disc

1.12.2 · 1.15.2 · 1.10.2 (toggleable where present) · not ported to 1.21.1

Requires OP / permission level 2.
