Description

Undead Unleashed is a mod aiming to expand the variety of enemy encounters, giving Minecraft a dark/medieval fantasy style while keeping the familiar aesthetic.
Just underwent a massive rework and got ported to 1.21.1! Note that some of older content may not be present anymore and it's intentional.
Currently supported Minecraft versions: Neoforge 1.21.1, Forge 1.20.1
Also on Modrinth.
If you are creating a modpack and want to modify spawn weights of each mob, use the Spawn Weight Config datapack!
Content:
- Creatures:
- Dreadknight
Durable warriors roaming the overworld. Facing one can end poorly if you are unprepared - they can both aggressively hack away at their foes as well as act defensively using their shield.

- Wraith
Dark malevolent undead inhabiting underground caverns. They vanish after getting attacked and then ambush the target. When exposed to sunlight, they burn.

- Flamebreather
Large half-flying beasts native to the Nether, most notably the Wastes, Crimson Forests and Basalt Deltas. As their name suggests they can spew out flames and turn you to ash. They are very dangerous especially near overhangs so be careful not to let them push you off to lava! A natural enemy for Piglins.

- Other:
- Plate Armor - made out of Heavy Plating dropped by Dreadknights, each piece gives you additional chance to block arrows up to a 50% when wearing a full set. Great armor if you want to survive a rain of arrows or be slightly less annoyed by Skeletons or Pillagers!
- Knight Sword - a fancy sword used by Dreadknights, has a chance to be dropped from them. Makes mobs caught in the sweeping range take more damage than from a normal sword, a decent choice against crowds (only on 1.21.1+, sweeping damage ratio attribute is unavailable on 1.20.1). Can be repaired using Heavy Plating
- Demon Broth - A completely normal stew made from Nether Wart, Brown Mushrooms, Carrots and Demon Horns. Gives you Fire Breath for a few seconds, much like a Flamebreather!
- Paintings - currently one, depicting the Flamebreather.

Important (please read before commenting with requests or questions):
- Q&A:
Q:Port to x.xx.x version? A:When the time is right...
Q:Different mod loaders? A:I don't plan going outside of Forge/Neoforge
Q:Can I use it in a modpack? A:Absolutely, as long as it's hosted either on Modrinth or Curseforge.
Q:Why did you remove some content? A:Because it lacked the quality I'm looking for. I am trying to provide quality above all else first, even tho it might be difficult sometimes. Old content will be selectively readded on top of new ideas.
Q:Can I republish this mod? A:Not without my permission. If I allow the mod distribution to a separate website, the download option MUST be linked to here, the official mod page on Curseforge or Modrinth. Do not download it from other sources!
Please report any bugs you find!
