Description

Universal Jockey: Tactical Player & Animal Mounting

Universal Jockey is a lightweight, survival-focused utility mod designed to enhance teamwork and mobility. Built with the hardcore survival experience of DeceasedCraft in mind, this mod allows you to transform any friendly creature—or even your fellow survivors—into a strategic advantage.

Key Features

  • Tactical Player Carrying: Mount any teammate by right-clicking them while they are crouching. The passenger sits high on the shoulders, allowing for perfect "overwatch" while the bottom player handles movement.

  • Consent-Based Riding: Players cannot be mounted unless they choose to allow it by shifting. To "buck" a rider off at any time, the carrier simply needs to crouch again.

  • Steerable Animal Cavalry: Gain full steering control over all friendly animals (Cows, Sheep, Pigs, etc.). Unlike horses, these animals follow your crosshair and movement keys (W, A, S, D) immediately upon mounting.

  • Immersive Weight Penalty: To maintain survival balance, players carrying another player move 20% slower, simulating the physical toll of human weight.

  • Vanilla Integrity: Standard Horse, Donkey, and Mule taming mechanics remain completely untouched. Wild horses must still be broken the vanilla way before they can be ridden.

  • Friendly Only: This mod strictly filters out hostile mobs; you won't accidentally hop on a Creeper or Zombie in the heat of battle.

How to Use

  1. To Ride a Player: The target player must Crouch (Shift). Right-click their back to hop on their shoulders.

  2. To Ride an Animal: Simply right-click any peaceful animal. Use your movement keys to steer.

  3. To Dismount: The rider can press Shift to jump off, or the carrier can Crouch to force the rider off.

Universal Jockey is the perfect addition for players looking to add a layer of tactical coordination and creative transportation to their post-apocalyptic world.
