Description

Unofficial 1.20.1 Port of Metallurgy 4: Reforged

⚠️ This is an unofficial, community-made port. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by the Metallurgy 4: Reforged team (Davoleo, Matpac, PierKnight, ItHurtsLikeHell) or by ShadowClaimer, the creator of the original Metallurgy. Please do not report bugs from this port to them.

What is this?

This is a port of Metallurgy 4: Reforged, originally for 1.12.2, to Minecraft 1.20.1 on Forge.

Like the original, it adds lots of ores and alloys. Each metal has its own theme and purpose: some are used for alloys, some power special gadgets, and many give your tools, weapons and armor unique effects.

Features

  • 49 metals, each with ingots, nuggets, dusts and molten fluids
  • Decorative blocks for every metal: blocks, bricks, large bricks, engraved blocks, crystals, hazard blocks and reinforced glass
  • Tools and armor with unique effects per metal (fire immunity, flight, life steal, time warping and more)
  • Machines
    • Alloyer: combine two metals into an alloy
    • Crusher: turn ores and ingots into dusts
    • Sublimation Chamber: turn metal blocks into area potion effects
  • Gadgets: Ore Detector, Electrum Magnet, Lemurite Shield, bucklers, Rubracium Gauntlet, Etherium Goggles, Vulcanite TNT and more
  • World generation across the Overworld, the Nether and the End, using the original spawn rules:
    • Platinum is more common in warm biomes
    • Sanguinite is more common near Nether Fortresses
    • Eximite only appears on the outer End islands
    • Rubracium prefers veins next to lava
    • Astral Silver is more common at high altitudes
  • Tar lakes in the Overworld
  • Advancements that guide you through the metal tiers
  • JEI support for all machine recipes
