Description
⚠️ This is a version port
This is an unofficial port of NiftyCarts to Minecraft 26.2 and 26.1.2 (Fabric). I did not create this mod — all of the code, art, and gifs belong to the original NiftyCarts team; I've only updated it to run on the newest Minecraft. If you play on a version the original supports, please use the original instead:
- Original mod: NiftyCarts on Modrinth · GitHub (jmb05)
- Based on AstikorCarts by MennoMax
- License: MIT (original copyright retained; see the bundled LICENSE)

What it adds
NiftyCarts gives you a whole family of carts — hauled by you on foot or drawn by a horse, donkey, or mule — for getting around, moving your stuff, and working your fields.

The carts
- Supply Cart — a rolling double-chest you can pull on foot; it also seats a passenger and shows some of its cargo stacked on top.
- Hand Cart — a lighter, player-pulled cart with 27 slots of storage.
- Wagon — a large horse-drawn hauler with expandable storage (feed it chests), an optional wool-carpet roof, and banner decoration.
- Animal Cart — a two-seat cart for ferrying players or livestock; small animals that wander into it climb aboard on their own.
- Plow — load it with a hoe, shovel, or axe, then drive it across the ground to till farmland, carve dirt paths, or strip logs.
- Seed Drill — holds 9 stacks of seeds and plants them automatically as you pull it over farmland.
- Reaper — sit on it while a horse pulls it to mow a wide swath of crops and clear ground growth.

How to use
Every cart hitches the same way: get within a couple of blocks of it and press the Attach/Detach Cart key (R by default). On foot you pull it yourself; from the saddle of a horse/donkey/mule your mount pulls it. Press the key again to unhitch. There's also a Toggle Slow key (Z) for careful maneuvering. Place a cart by right-clicking the ground with the cart item, and right-click storage carts to open them.
Requirements
- Fabric Loader + Fabric API
- Forge Config API Port (by Fuzs)
Recipes

Credits & license
