🌲 Utility Armors & Tools: Overworld Forests
15 armor sets · 85 unique tools · every piece grants a unique forest-themed effect. No new blocks added.
Bring the wild woodlands of the Overworld to your gear with 15 fully-balanced armor sets and their complete toolkits, all crafted from the wood, planks, bamboo and fungi you find in the forest. This mod expands gear customization with 15 new armor sets and 85 unique tools, each granting useful gameplay effects, status boosts or unique passive abilities — all in the pure Vanilla+ style, using only materials that already exist in your world.
⚙️ Vanilla+ promise
The mod adds tools, weapons and armor only. No new blocks are generated or added to the game.
⭐ Key Features
- 🌲 15 armor sets — from plain oak to dark oak, mangrove, bamboo and two kinds of mushroom, each with a unique defensive profile and a signature forest ability
- 🧰 85 tools — a full matching toolkit (Sword, Pickaxe, Axe, Shovel, Hoe) for every set, each with thematic on-hit and on-mine bonuses
- 🧱 0 new blocks — craft everything from the Vanilla logs, planks and mushrooms you harvest
- ⚖️ Carefully balanced — heavy wood sets grant resistance but slow you down; light plank sets are fast but fragile
- 💡 Tier progression — tools scale from STONE to IRON harvest levels as you move to heavier woods
- ⚠️ Risky fungi — mushroom sets poison the wearer, or grant Strength at the cost of Poison

📦 Changelog
- 📢 v1.0.0
- First release of Overworld Forests — the first woodland-themed expansion in the Utility Armors & Tools series.
- 15 armor sets and 85 tools, each with unique forest-themed effects.
- Full balancing pass: heavy woods (Dark Oak, Mangrove, Rad Mushroom) trade speed for strength; plank sets are cheap and light; mushroom sets are risky and toxic.
⚠️ Technical Notes
- This modification adds tools, weapons and armor sets only — no new blocks are generated or added to the game.
- Fully Vanilla+ friendly and survival-balanced, themed around the Overworld's forests, woods and fungi.
- Poison on armor is applied every 40 ticks so it actually deals damage instead of being constantly refreshed.
