About

Description

This is a fork of Valkyrien Skies 2 which includes a small fix which allows for VS2 to work with TerraFirmaCraft. This mod is meant to be a replacement for VS2; do not run this mod simulatenously with VS2.

The incompatibility between VS2 and TFC stems from the way VS2 handles ships: ships are stored in a place on the Overworld far from spawn, called 'the Shipyard'. In vanilla Minecraft, nothing generates in the Shipyard; in TerraFirmaCraft, some worldgen does occur. This fork addresses that.

I did not create VS2, full credit to the Valkrien Skies team for that. I also did not make this change to the source code, full credit to Dokueki on Github for that. I am simply maintining this "fork of a fork" so it can be included in modpacks.

VS2 originally by the Valkyrien Skies Team:

CurseForge: https://legacy.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/valkyrien-skies

Github: https://github.com/ValkyrienSkies/Valkyrien-Skies-2

This fix was not made by me, but was originally made by Dokeuki on Github:

Github: https://github.com/Dokueki/Valkyrien-Skies-2

My own Github:

This fork, as well as the main Valkyrian Skies, contains compatibility code for COFH and Thermal Expansion. Here is info on their licensing: https://github.com/CoFH/CoFHCore/blob/1.20.x/README.md
