Versatile Tools: 3x3 Mining, Vein Miner & Tree Feller

Versatile Tools gives you a pickaxe, shovel, axe and hoe with a Mode Core: mine 3×3, break whole ore veins or fell entire trees — and switch modes whenever you want. The crystal in the tool changes color with the active mode, and the blocks you are about to break are outlined in that color, so what you see is exactly what breaks.

Every tool is a 3D voxel model (one cube per pixel), not a flat sprite.

Modes

How to use

• Switch mode: Shift + right-click (with an empty off hand) or press M (rebindable in Controls).
• Crouch while mining to break a single block, whatever the mode.
• Each extra block costs 1 durability; the tool stops before it would break.
• Area mode skips blocks much harder than the one you hit, so you won't break obsidian by accident.
• Fortune, Silk Touch, experience, statistics and claim/protection mods work on every extra block: each one is broken through the vanilla mining code, as if you mined it by hand.

Versatile tool: an iron, diamond or netherite pickaxe, shovel, axe or hoe + a Mode Core (shapeless). Enchantments, durability and custom name are kept.

Netherite: versatile diamond tool + netherite ingot (+ netherite upgrade template on 1.20.1 and 1.21.1) at the smithing table.

Configuration

Turn each mode on or off, and change the Vein and Lumber limits and the maximum relative hardness of Area mode.

Versatile Tools agrega pico, pala, hacha y azada con un Núcleo de modos: minás 3×3, rompés vetas enteras de mineral o talás árboles completos, y cambiás de modo cuando quieras. El cristal de la herramienta cambia de color según el modo y los bloques que vas a romper se marcan con contornos de ese color: lo que ves es exactamente lo que se rompe.

Cada herramienta es un modelo 3D de vóxeles (un cubo por píxel), no un dibujo plano.

Modos

Cómo se usa

• Cambiar de modo: Shift + clic derecho (con la otra mano vacía) o la tecla M (se cambia en Controles).
• Agachado rompés un solo bloque, en cualquier modo.
• Cada bloque extra gasta 1 de durabilidad; la herramienta se frena antes de romperse.
• El modo Área no rompe bloques mucho más duros que el que golpeaste: no rompés obsidiana sin querer.
• Fortuna, Toque de seda, experiencia, estadísticas y mods de protección de terrenos funcionan con cada bloque extra: cada uno se rompe con el código de minado vanilla, como si lo minaras a mano.

Herramienta versátil: un pico, pala, hacha o azada de hierro, diamante o netherita + un Núcleo de modos (sin forma). Conserva encantamientos, durabilidad y nombre.

Netherita: la versátil de diamante + lingote de netherita (+ plantilla de mejora de netherita en 1.20.1 y 1.21.1) en la mesa de herrería.

Configuración

Activar o desactivar cada modo, y cambiar los límites de Veta y Talador y la dureza máxima relativa del Área.
