Villager Trade Hub

A standalone trading cabinet for Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge 47.4.6-47.x and Java 17.

Features

  • Browse real offers with unlocked-first ordering and search by product name, full Chinese pinyin or initials.
  • Equivalent offers are grouped for display only. Real sources and villager inventories remain separate; an available source can replace an exhausted one.
  • Store up to 28 villagers (4 x 7 slots) and aggregate eligible stored and nearby villagers, up to 200 real offers. Nearby discovery uses a 16-block inflated box; purchases recheck distance.
  • Sneak and empty-main-hand right-click to capture a villager; right-click its captured item to release. Villager NBT is retained. Inventory, trading, vehicle, collision and loaded-UUID checks can reject unsafe actions. UUID checks do not scan unloaded save data.
  • Restock offer uses and view original cabinet textures with three stock appearance states.

Installation and limits

Install the release JAR in mods. Singleplayer needs the client instance including its integrated server. Dedicated servers and participating clients must install matching versions; this is not client-only and uses strict bidirectional protocol 2. Villager Helper is optional, not a required dependency. Existing helper lock metadata and original-offer safety checks are retained, but this mod alone does not provide future-level trade previews. Release preparation verified a clean build, pure Java policy tests and static resource/license/artifact checks. No client, dedicated server or GameTest was launched; multiplayer transactions, modpack compatibility, persistence edge cases and final visuals are not certified. Pinyin is single-character data, not contextual polyphonic word segmentation.
