Description

VoxelCam

Minecraft takes the screenshot. VoxelCam handles everything after that.

Press H in game, or click the camera button on the title screen, and you get a proper browser for your screenshots folder — without alt-tabbing out to your file manager to find the shot you took twenty minutes ago.

Browse

  • Search by name, with thumbnails and a large preview of whatever is selected
  • Every shot listed with its capture time, resolution, and file size
  • Rename (F2) and delete (Del) without leaving the game
  • Previews keep their aspect ratio, so screenshots from any window size look right

Share

The Share menu needs no account, no login, and no API key:
Save a copy… Opens your operating system's real Save dialog, so you can drop a screenshot straight into iCloud Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, or anywhere else
Show in file manager Reveals the file in Finder or Explorer
Copy file path Puts the full path on your clipboard
Get a share link Uploads to catbox.moe and copies the link, ready to paste into Discord

Nothing is uploaded unless you press the button.

Requirements

  • Minecraft 1.21.11
  • Fabric Loader 0.19.3+ and Fabric API
  • Java 21 — the runtime the Minecraft launcher already ships with, so no launcher changes

Client-side only. Servers do not need it, and you can use it on any server, modded or vanilla.

Good to know

  • Oversized "big screenshot" capture from VoxelCam 1.x is not yet ported. Shift+F2 tells you so rather than failing silently.
  • Screenshots are read from your normal screenshots folder. VoxelCam never moves or rewrites them behind your back — renaming and deleting only happen when you ask.

About

VoxelCam started life in 2013 as a LiteLoader mod that posted screenshots to Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, and Imgur. Those all needed accounts, API keys, and OAuth flows that aged badly. 2.0.0 is a ground-up Fabric rewrite that keeps the part people actually used — the screenshot manager — and replaces the social uploaders with sharing that works the moment you install it.
