Voxel's Nether More

I would like to introduce you all to my next big mod, Voxel's Nether More Mod! This mod aims to massively improve the Nether dimension and your time spent there, by adding all sorts of new things to do and places to explore. Thought the Nether was boring? It sure ain't anymore.

***This mod does use some custom armor models, so if you are using Optifine, there are steps you'll need to take to make the custom armor models work.
you'll need to decompress the Optifine .jar, and delete these 4 files:
HumanoidArmorLayer$1.class.md5
HumanoidArmorLayer$1.class.xdelta
HumanoidArmorLayer.class.md5
HumanoidArmorLayer.class.xdelta
they're located in
patch>srg>net>minecraft>client>renderer>entity>layers
this will fix the custom armor rendering issue, just recompress the Optifine folder and change .zip to .jar, or use a file converter.***

-New Biomes-

This mod adds 5 new biomes to the Nether:

The Distrot Forest.

The Ara Forest.

The Goldenrod Forest.

The Quartdust Desert.

The Netherwart Valley.

This mod also improves the vanilla Nether Biomes a bit.

-New Farmable Foods-

There are now multiple farmable foods in the Nether, no more starvation.

Magmaroot Berries can be farmed from Magmaroot Plants.

Glowvera Berries can be farmed by shearing Glowvera Vines.

Warped Pumpkins can be farmed for Warped Pie. Warped Pumpkins will only grow in the Nether and must be planted on Tilled Nylium.

Nether Seeds can be farmed for Nether Wheat, which is used for Nether Bread. Nether Bread can be toasted for Nether Toast. Can only grow in the Nether on Tilled Nylium.

 

-New Ores-

There are 2 new ore types in the Nether: Nethanium and Gravore. Nethanium generates all throughout the Nether, but Gravore only generates in the Basalt Delta. Both Nethanium and Gravore equipment have the same durabilities (equal to Diamond's) and provide knockback resistence.

-New Tool Type-

This mod adds a whole new tool type to Minecraft: Mallets! They're good for both mining and combat. A Mallet will insta-break the block you hit with it, but it can also mine like a normal pickaxe. In terms of combat, the Mallet is similar to an Axe, with even higher attack damage but even slower attack speed. A Diamond Mallet has an attack value of 13 and an attack speed value of 0.7. Diamond Mallet is the lowest tier Mallet, due the extent of their power. There are 4 craftable Mallets: Diamond Mallet, Nethanium Mallet, Gravore Mallet, and Netherite Mallet.

-Spectral Potion-

The Spectral Potion is a throwable-only potion. You throw it up in the air to hit yourself with it. The Spectral Potion highlights any entity around you until it wears off. It is brewed with a Firefly Powder Block.

 

-Special Gear-

This mod adds 4 unique new tools which are not obtained through ordinary means. 

The Molten Pickaxe: Turns the block mined into lava, which disappears after 15 seconds, unless a block of Glowing Obsidian is placed on any side of the lava (up, down, north, south, east, west). Found rarely in loot chests around the Nether. Repaired with Blaze Rods.

The Netherwart Sword: A unique Sword dropped by Netherwart Skeletons. Causes the entity killed with a Netherwart Sword to place down a Netherwart Bulb. Useful for farming Netherwart. Repaired with Netherwart.

The Relic Mallet: This is a powerful, uncraftable Mallet, which explodes the blocks hit! The Relic Mallet is only obtainable by taking on the Relic Hall challenge (interact with the block at the center of the Relic Hall to begin the Relic Hall challenge). Repaired with Glowing Obsidian.

The Nether Staff: A very powerful weapon. The Nether Staff shoots explosive projectiles, with a default recharge time of 8 seconds, and a blast power of 3. With new enchantments specific to the Nether Staff, you can upgrade your staff with the Recharge enchant and the Blast Power enchant. Recharge 1 decreases the cooldown time to 6 seconds, Recharge 2 decreases it to 4 seconds, and Recharge 3 decreases it down to 2 seconds. Blast Power 1 amplifies the explosions to power 4, and Blast Power 2 brings the explosions to power 5! To obtain the Nether Staff, you must take on 4 Nether Guardians to obtain 4 Staff Shards, and you must obtain the Heart Of The Nether, which then must be all placed in the Nether Forger, to create the staff. The staff enchants can be found in Nether Fortress loot chests. Repaired with Glowing Obsidian and Staff Shards.

 

-Heart Of The Nether-

This is the key item to creating the Nether Staff. To obtain the Heart Of The Nether, you must gather various items from around the Nether, and defeat a Wither for the Nether Star. The Heart Of The Nether is crafted with 1 Arafruit, 1 Ghast Tear, 1 Netherite Scrap, 1 Nethanium, 1 Gravore, 1 Glowing Obsidian, 1 Phoenix Feather, 1 Netherwart, and 1 Nether Star. The Heart Of The Nether can also be consumed for similar effects to a Notch Apple, but of a much greater scale.

-Water Reactor-

The Water Reactor is a special block that allows you to place water in the Nether! Simply interact with the block for it to place a block of Water. Crafted with 4 Diamonds, 2 Nethanium, 2 Lapis Blocks, and a Water Bucket.

-Nether Reactor Core-

The Nether Reactor Core, originally from old Pocket Edition, brought to Java! It functions exactly the same as back in the day, but with a slightly more modernized loot table. The Netherrack Spires are pulled straight from PE Alpha v0.8.1, so its the exact one from back in the day.
