Description

As Minecraft has evolved, experience has become an essential resource for enchanting, repairing items, and more. However, obtaining XP often means slowly grinding repetitive tasks or relying on dedicated XP farms. Well-Discovered XP addresses this by introducing naturally generating experience reservoirs to the world. This lets players seek out and collect XP through exploration, like most other resources.
You can also try out Well-Earned XP for even more ways to earn experience!
Experience Reservoirs
Pools of experience will now form naturally in underground reservoirs in the Nether. Each reservoir is sealed within a casing of Hardened Netherrack, which can only be destroyed with explosions. After breaking into these reservoirs, you can swim in the experience to absorb and collect XP. You can also gather this experience fluid with either a Bucket or a Glass Bottle. Using a Glass Bottle turns it into a Bottle O’ Enchanting.
Do note that experience fluid is affected by gravity and will descend if it isn't supported by a solid block or another fluid source.

Essence Berry Bushes
Essence Berry Bushes spawn throughout the Nether and mark the presence of an experience reservoir, similar to how Azalea Trees indicate the location of a lush cave biome. These bushes grow Essence Berries, which you can consume to gain XP. While Essence Berry Bushes can be harvested and replanted, they cannot be bone mealed.
