About

Description

The mod is pretty simple. It attempts to recreate the snails used in Grian's Wild Life series.

1 Snail will be spawned for every player, and it will only chase its specific player.
(You may change the number of snails per player with /immortalsnails setNumSnailsPerPlayer [numSnails])

Snails get faster the further away you are.

If they can't reach you, they will fly to you. If that doesn't work, they'll start mining to you.

They can open doors.

They can adjust trapdoors to suit their needs.

They will push away TNT and TNT minecarts.

They will redirect arrows and other projectiles to return to sender.
They will parachute down to you.

If you change dimensions, they will teleport with you.

If you get too far away or they are stuck, they will teleport near you.

They refuse to get in boats/minecarts.

The snails are always loaded so good luck.

I plan to update this mod to a newer version of Minecraft eventually to hopefully fix some bugs with pathfinding. As of right now, the snail gets stuck pretty easily while flying due to its smaller size. Assuming I do actually continue development of the mod, I'll also be adding a config so you guys can change how the snail behaves (Disabling abilities, changing speed, etc...). I also do plan on adding a way to have custom names/skins for snails per user. I'll release the source code eventually if anyone wants to tinker with the mod.

Please check out ALittleBitOfFlair's video using my mod!
