Winnetrie's Expansion Mod

This is a new 5.0.0 update

Winnetrie's Expansion Mod expands Minecraft with new building options, natural stone types, fruit trees and drinks while keeping everything close to the vanilla style.

The goal is simple: add more variety without making Minecraft feel like a completely different game.

🧱 More Building Options

Expand your builds with many new block variants, including:

• Glass and Stained Glass slabs, stairs and walls
• Wool slabs, stairs and walls
• Concrete slabs, stairs and walls
• Terracotta slabs, stairs and walls
• Terracotta Bricks and Bricked Terracotta
• Multiple decorative variants for the new stone families

Most blocks are available in the familiar Minecraft colors.

⛰️ New Natural Stone

Discover several new stone families in the world:

Limestone

Found around rivers and oceans, especially near the stone beneath the water.

Marblestone

Found in hills and mountain biomes, both underground and around cave formations.

Dread Stone

A dark Nether stone found in Warped Forests.

Blood Stone

A red Nether stone found in Crimson Forests.

Each stone type comes with additional building variants such as bricks, smooth blocks, slabs, stairs and walls.

🍎 Fruit Trees

Explore the Overworld and discover naturally generating fruit trees:

• Apple
• Orange
• Lemon
• Pear
• Peach
• Plum

Vanilla Cherry Trees can also grow Cherries.

Fruit can be harvested directly from the trees and will regrow over time. Fruit trees can also be grown from their own saplings.

🧃 Drinks & Brewing

Use the Brewing Stand to create a collection of fruit juices and milk-based drinks.

Available drinks include:

• Apple Juice
• Orange Juice
• Lemon Juice
• Pear Juice
• Peach Juice
• Plum Juice
• Cherry Juice
• Beetroot Juice
• Carrot Juice
• Cactus Juice
• Melon Juice
• Pumpkin Juice
• Chorus Fruit Juice
• Milk
• Sweetened Milk
• Chocolate Milk

Juices restore hunger and provide a short movement speed bonus, while the different milk drinks can remove negative status effects.

Chorus Fruit Juice even retains the familiar Chorus Fruit teleport effect.

⚙️ Modular Configuration

Most major parts of the mod can be enabled or disabled separately.

For example, you can disable:

• Marblestone
• Dread Stone
• Blood Stone
• Glass variants
• Wool variants
• Concrete variants
• Terracotta variants

This allows the mod to be adapted to different modpacks and playstyles.

🔍 JEI Support

Just Enough Items (JEI) is optional.

When JEI is installed, the custom Brewing Stand recipes from Winnetrie's Expansion Mod are displayed directly inside JEI.
