Makes the world mostly pretty flat, like the plains. A good alternative to superflat worlds if you still want biomes, trees, ores, caves, and the like.
A comparison of the same world, normal generation above and semiflat below. If you like to flatten the ground before you build on it, this will make it much easier.
Semiflat oceans become very shallow.
