Description

witchercraftnewwhite.png If you ever wanted to feel like Geralt from Witcher series while playing Minecraft, you are in the right place.

Some of WitcherCraft features are:

  • Witcher based signs: Yrden, Quen, Igni, Axii and Aard.
  • Brand new alchemy crafting system
  • Powerful potions, oils, bombs and runes.
  • Witcher armors with special effects.
  • New, difficult to kill monsters.
  • Tons of new items.

And much more to discover.

To keep it clean, here are a few tabs of things you can experience in WitcherCraft.

Signs:

Signs are powerful magic spells that can help fight monsters as well as defend from upcoming damage.

There are 5 basic signs in WitcherCraft mod: Yrden, Quen, Ignii, Axii and Aard.

The player can cast one of signs every 45 seconds(or 22.5 seconds with proper gear).

To open Sign Menu you need to press Tab. To choose the sign you just need to click on one of 5 buttons. To cast sign you have to press R.
Sign Menu

Yrden

Yrden, otherwise known as a magical trap is a sign that when employed, slows down all enemies that enter its range.

Quen

Quen is a protective shield that you cast on yourself. After cast it will absorb some damage.

Igni

Igni is a burst of flames that can be used to ignite enemies.

Axii

Axii is a projectile sign that can be used on enemies to temporarily stun them.

Aard

Aard is a projectile sign that can be used to throw back an opponent.

Alchemy:

In WitcherCraft as well as in witcher series alchemy is a very important part of being a witcher. Using alchemy player is able to craft powerful potions, weapon oils or even bombs. Alchemy can be done whenever and wherever.

Alchemy Menu

Alchemy Menu is portable crafting table used to craft potions, oils and bombs. It can be accessed by pressing B.

In Alchemy Menu there are 8 slots. 1st slot is where you put alchemy base. Slots 2-7 is where you put alchemy ingredients. After clicking Craft result of your brewing will pop out in slot 8.

Alchemy is widely described on this page on the Wiki.

Potions
Potions are the most common use for alchemy and serve as drinkable buffs.

Potions are described on this page on Wiki.

Available Potions:
Golden Oriole- Removes poison effect and gives poison immunity

White Honey- Removes potion's effects

Blizzard- Gives speed and haste

Witcher Gear:

In WitcherCraft there are sets of gear form 6 witcher schools. Every one of schools promote certain playstyle and give special effects.

These armors require way more crafting material than basic minecraft armors. In order to craft every piece of witcher equipment you will need a diagram of that specific gear. And obtaining that diagram can be an adventure by itself. They can be looted from chests or bought from villagers.

Witcher Gear is widely described on this page on Wiki.

I really recommend using recipe viewers like Just Enough Items.

But when it comes to alchemy recipes your only help is your general witcher knowledge and this Wiki. Generally, this wiki is very helpful.

If you need it while playing you can type /wiki in chat to get a link to the wiki home page.

If you want to use this mod in modpack of any kind or on a multiplayer server you are allowed as long as you let me know about that fact, for example on Discord.

This is an unofficial fan work and is not approved/endorsed by CD PROJEKT RED.

Most of in game graphics were made by CD PROJEKT RED for Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. They are used here to provide the greatest level of immersion while playing WitcherCraft. If using them is any kind of problem, let me know. Discord is probably the best choice for quick response.
