Wolfborn | An Origins Add-On

A small, roleplay-focused Wolfborn origin for the Origins mod on Minecraft 1.20.1.

Wolfborn is designed with SMP roleplay in mind rather than competitive optimization. It gives players a collection of wolf-inspired abilities.

🐺 Abilities

🌙 Keen Senses

Wolfborn possess heightened senses, allowing them to perceive the world around them differently from ordinary players.

🐾 Prowler

Wolfborn gain increased movement speed while sneaking or sprinting, allowing them to stalk prey or quickly give chase.

🥩 Raw Carnivore

Wolfborn are obligate carnivores.

They can only eat raw meat and raw fish. Cooked foods and other food items are considered inedible.

However, Wolfborn are naturally adapted to their diet:

• Raw meat provides additional saturation.

• Raw meat does not inflict its usual negative food effects.

• Raw chicken and other potentially harmful raw foods can be safely consumed.

🩸 Blood Scent

When Wolfborn successfully injure a target, their predatory instincts activate.

• Wolfborn gain Strength I temporarily.

• The wounded target is temporarily given Glowing, allowing it to be tracked if it attempts to flee.

• A small burst of red particles marks the point of injury.

📦 Requirements

Required:

• Minecraft 1.20.1

• Fabric

• Origins 1.10.2 or compatible 1.20.x version

This project is an Origins add-on and does not function as a standalone mod.

🛠️ Compatibility

Wolfborn uses Origins' datapack-based origin and power system and does not add new blocks, items, entities, or other custom game content.

It is intended to work alongside other Origins add-ons and additional origins, provided they are compatible with the installed version of Origins.
