Wolf's Swords

Wolf's Swords is a mod that adds swords to Minecraft in a highly customizable way!

This mods is a vanilla based mod that focuses on improving late game combat in a highly customizable way, but this is not another late game mod where you have OP gear that lets you fly or shoot massive lasers or missiles but rather ties into the vanilla style of Minecraft!

This mod adds 4 blades 4 styles and 4 hilts that you can combine to make your own sword!
The blade styles include:

1.The Kalis(The kalis descends from the Javanese keris, which first appeared in 13th‑century Java.
As the keris spread through maritime Southeast Asia, it reached the southern Philippines, where it evolved into a true sword, not a dagger. Unlike the Indonesian keris (mostly ceremonial), the Filipino kalis became a dedicated combat weapon used by the Moro peoples: Tausūg, Maranao, Maguindanao, Sama, and others.)

2.The Falchion(The falchion appears in Europe around the 12th–13th century, likely evolving from large utilitarian knives and agricultural choppers used by common soldiers. Early forms were simple, practical, and inexpensive compared to double‑edged arming swords.)

3.The Katana(Early Japanese swords (chokutō) were straight, single‑edged blades influenced by Chinese and Korean designs. These dominated until the Heian period (794–1185), when mounted combat pushed swordsmiths toward curved blades. This led to the tachi, worn edge‑down and optimized for horseback slashing. The katana would later evolve directly from this form.  The katana emerged during the Kamakura period, a time of intense warfare and the rise of the samurai class. Key drivers of its development:
-Need for faster draws in close combat
-Mongol invasions (1274, 1281) exposing weaknesses in earlier blades, prompting stronger forging methods and improved curvature
-Refinement of differential heat‑treating, producing the hardened edge and softer spine that define the katana’s cutting ability By the Muromachi period (1336–1573), the katana had fully replaced the tachi as the primary samurai sidearm.)

4.The Stinger(While not a historical blade like the others this was made by accident when making the blades for this mod, I thought it somewhat resembles the rapier from Minecraft Dungeons(just with a wider bottom) I named it the stinger after the unique form of the rapier)

All those blade come in 4 variants Poison, Fire, Wither, and Ice and then can be combined with one of four hilts the Gold Falcon, the Diamond Dragon, the Iron Griffon, and the Iron Scorpion.

I recommend using JEI for crafting recipes as there are so many of them.

NOTE:the 1.19.2 version is not fully functional as you have to craft them since the smithing update wad 1.20 so if you want the full functionality use the 1.20.1 or 1.21.1(1.21.1 is patreon only) version of the mod (also if you have a sword thats enchanted on the 1.19.2 version and upgrade it to one of the mod's sword it will lose all enchantments on the 1.20.1 version you will not lose enchantments when upgrading)

Q-Will you update to 1.21.1?

Q-Can I use this mod in a modpack?

A-Yes you can use this version of the mod for a modpack but not the Patreon version.
